How to choose between them

Choose the Auburn if you have an indoor room already (a basement corner, a converted closet, a bathroom addition) because it sits directly on existing flooring with no foundation work. At 2-3 person rated capacity it’s the tighter of the two, and the hybrid configuration option means you can run it as infrared, traditional, or both without buying a second unit.

Choose the Pinnacle if you want a backyard installation and don’t mind the foundation work that comes with any outdoor barrel sauna. It seats up to 4, the ball-and-socket cedar construction is built for weather exposure in a way an indoor unit isn’t, and at the sale price it lands close to the Auburn despite the larger footprint.

Both ship with a 6kW Harvia heater on a 240V dedicated circuit, so the electrical scope is comparable. The real decision here is indoor vs. outdoor, not heater performance.
